BUZZARDS BAY, MA - July 28th, 2019 – Taylor Goodridge came out on top of the MHC Adult Medal class at the Head of the Bay Classic held at Grazing Fields Farm.

If you think you've heard her name before, you're right. Taylor Goodridge is one of the rising amateur adult equitation riders in the state of Massachusetts.

At the 2019 Head of the Bay Classic Horse show, Taylor took home the win in the MHC Adult Medal class under the direction of trainer Tricia Moss of Moss Show Stables, which is based out of the Cavallo Equestrian Center in Westford, MA.

This summer Taylor found herself starting to catch ride unfamiliar horses at shows. While catch riding is something new to Taylor it doesn’t seem to bother her one bit on her way to the winners circle. Her mount for the MHC class was “Wit,” a horse from Kathy Fletcher and Grazing Fields Farm. "The course for the MHC Medal was your typical equitation course including rollbacks and a long run oxar. Those long runs usually get me, but I'm glad it didn't this time," says Goodridge.

Last year at the 2018 MHC Days of Champions Goodridge was 6th in the 18-30 open class and then was 6th in the 18-30 Adult Medal Final. Just before coming to Head of the Bay she was at HITS Saugerties where she was reserve champion in the 3’ Adult Equitation Division on a catch ride. Taylor has also competed at top shows around the country at HITS Ocala and the Fieldstone Show Park.

"I'm excited to return to MHC finals this year," she says. "Last year was my first time competing as an adult and I was excited to be 6th in the final." While Taylor is in College in Florida, she will make the return home to see friends, family and compete once again in the 18-30 Adult Medal Finals.

We can’t wait to see you again Taylor, and we wish you the best of luck!
