MASSACHUSETTS HORSEMEN’S COUNCIL, INC.
Applicant must be one of the following: Dorothy Potter Scholarship1. Have graduated from high school and be currently attending college OR an equine-related trade school Board of Governors Scholarship2. Be a senior in high school and accepted to a school of higher education Applicant must show certification of a scholarship grade of at least 2.6 average or above for scholarship to be awarded, which shall be paid out after the applicant’s first semester has been completed. Applicant will include a short resume-1 page, double-spaced and attached to the application detailing the applicant’s activities with the Massachusetts Horsemen’s Council. Applicant must submit a color or black/white photograph head shot with application. Applicant must submit an official high school or college transcript with application. The MHC Scholarship Committee, appointed by the President, will entertain, accept, and consider all applications for scholarship awards. Be duly noted that the awarding of any or all scholarships will be at the discretion of the above committee with approval of the President of the MHC.
