New Insurance Certificate Requirements!
INSURANCE CERTIFICATE
All MHC affiliated shows must show proof of one million dollars in general liability for each occurance. MHC must be named as "additional insured" and certificate must stipulate location and date of each event. Copy of this certificate must be postmarked and mailed, faxed, or emailed FOURTEEN calendar days prior to:Susan Couper 55 Cherry Brook Road Weston, MA 02493

Failure to receive certificate of insurance in the above stated time frame will result in loss of MHC recognition/points. In addition, a fine of $250.00 will be assessed for the first offense, second offense fine of $500.00, and third offense loss of MHC affiliation for one year and payment of all assessed fines.
A COPY OF THE INSURANCE CERTIFICATE MUST BE AVAILABLE IN THE SHOW OFFICE THE DAY OF THE EVENT FOR THE STEWARD TO INSPECT AND SIGN OFF ON ON THE MHC STEWARD REPORT.
Exhibitors and Show Managers please note:
Any indebtedness to a show official or MHC owed by and exhibitor, owner, trainer, rider, agent must be settled within 15 days or no points toward annual high score awards will be credited to that exhibitor until such indebtedness is cleared and subject to a $50.00 fee for each occurrence.

ALL STEWARDS are to inspect the insurance certificate in the show office, with MHC "additional insured" and that the sum of one million dollars in general liability is stated, as well as the correct date/name of the event. Every Steward is now required to signoff on the MHC Steward report that the insurance certificate was inspected and correct.
